Karxt will be released in 2025, ulotaront in 2026/2027, I think that is the reason.
Both have a mechanism of action linked to dopamine. I suppose that the antipsychotics that will come after these will no longer be linked to this chemical substance, they will be more precise in the neural receptors.

KarXT has 2 phase 3 trials complete with some early results.
Ulotaront has 1 phase 3 complete comparing to quetiapine xr. No results yet for that trial.

Karuna thinks it will have enough phase 3 trial results this year to file an application.
They will not wait for all trial results.

If KarXT is approved at the beginning of 2024 and not in mid-2024, those of us who do not respond to current antipsychotics would be great news, the happiness it would give me would be enormous. Does anyone know when the KarXT creation process began? that would have to be found out. Since the creation of the molecule is 16 years, it seems to me.
So we could deduce with more precision when it will go on sale.
There has been no NDA application submitted yet and the NDA application takes about 9 months. So we know it is more than 9 months from approval.
Only the company Karuna knows when it will apply. It will not apply until it feels it has the phase 3 trial data needed for approval.
