I’m doing okay. Just watching videos about consciousness on Youtube. 2:24 AM here. Hoping the Ativan helps me sleep.

I was tapering my benzo and finally quit this Monday.
I just have a couple of pills as a prn but I won’t take them anymore daily.
So far so good.
I had a good nights sleep and my daylight glasses are really helping in the morning.

Good for you man! I used to have a big dependence on Ativan. I went through living hell going through withdrawal. It brought me to the hospital.
Now i don’t take my Ativan every day anymore. Just when im having a panic attack or need sleep badly.
I’m glad you found something that helps your depression.

Have you been using your exercise bike?

I’m back to working together with my movement coach. Tomorrow I see him again.
For now we agreed to:
2x strength exercises a week
1x 30 mins on the exercise bike a week
2x 1 hour walk weekly
I’ve stuck to it for the last 3 weeks, so I’m happy about that.
Do you still do some exercise?

I’ve been weight training every day with my dumbbells in the basement. Feeling good. Need to start using the treadmill everyday again.

Haha! Lots of people couldnt survive it. It gets super cold from December to March. A sh’it ton of snow.
Lots of homeless people die in the streets because of how cold it is.
When my grandma passes away, I hope i can find somewhere to live. Becoming homeless is one of my biggest fears in life.

Maybe you can put yourself already on a list for social housing? Those lists can be long.
I rent from my mom. She doesn’t want me to live in social housing as there can be many problems like drugs and violence.

Yeah I dont wanna live in social housing for that exact reason. Im paranoid of crime around me. I dont wanna have to fear for my safety in social housing.

Social Housing is ok (at least in my part of the world) - but i did my research when i was on the housing list - and point blank refused some of the more scummy areas around here.
Some councils - will only give you one choice now tho, if you refuse it - they deem you as intentional homeless.
The town here - is still full of junkies tho. One of the reasons i quit visiting any of the bars here.

When I was younger it was my go to Benzo
These days it makes me feel very groggy
Diazepam seems to help a lot now I am taking it less and not dependent on it
