Just took my first antipsychotic for the first time in about 8 weeks. Dont ask me how i made it through that cause i don’t know. But just took invega for the first time. What should i expect and when will i notice something
I noticed a difference after 6 weeks on my invega depot. For me it’s a good antipsychotic.
Invega was a decent antipsychotic for me but it took like six months to really work
I see alot of people moan about this drug or Xeplion (Paliperidone) as it is known in the UK. But its done nothing but good for me. In my experience it does take a while to work - but really id rather be medicated on that ratther than be the crazy paranoid delusional idiot i was before. Stay with it - it does work…
If you’re like me, a day or two. But to really see a difference 6 months to two years. That’s how long it took me to get the full benefits of vraylar.
I’m on invega. It took about eight months for it to really kick in. I’m on 12 mg. It works well but I do get breakthrough symptoms. But they are controllable.
I noticed a slightly lower volume within a couple days of being on 6mg. And then progressively quieter over the 2+ years I’ve been on it
After the first 2 loading doses I noticed improvement. First appetite. Then eventually bathing again. My thoughts were better.
I’ve only been on it 3 weeks and my thoughts are not where I want them to be. I see some improvement. Others around me see a vast improvement already.
I sleep longer periods of time. I can sleep 6 hours now. Sometimes longer. But my sleep pattern has yet to smooth out regular.
I have put weight back on. And Monday I am going back to the gym for the first time in years.
I feel it may work better than qutiapine and I was on that 10 years. But we shall see.
Had some muscle aches. That seems to have subsided. I took some radix baths and put deep heat rub on while I was going through that.
