Title pretty much says it all. I gave blood just a few minutes ago. Tomorrow I take my first dose. She’s going up on the dose very slowly. Sounds like a plan to me. Hoping it works. I had a feeling this was going to happen.

Good luck on it, if you’re a non-responder to the other meds clozapine should do something. I was and it helped me alot, it’s the only drug that ever did anything.

The pharmacy had to order it. They didn’t have it in the low dose I’m prescribed. So we are now a total go for tomorrow. I’m in the Clozapine Registry, the pharmacy has my bloodwork and prescription with refills, it’s all tied up in a nice neat package. Can’t wait to try it.

Clozapine was the fourth drug that my son tried. We were told that it is the most effective antipsychotic but it is among the last to be tried because of the potential low blood count side effect. Fortunately, my son does not suffer from this side effect and the drug was, by far, the most effective in his case.
