Just got on Clozapine

I’m at 100mg I get blood drawn weekly and this is my third day and now my throat is hurting maybe the cigs. So far so good, just need something for my mood to simmer down. These mood swings are really taking a toll on me and am going to talk to my pdoc about it.

Congrats ! It’s a decent med

I had to get off of it cuz at 500 (or 600) mg I couldn’t speak properly.

Hi.
I have been on clozapine for 10 years now. It’s has it’s side effects like sedation and weight gain but it is best antipsychoic we got at the moment. It is especially effective against positive symptoms of schizophrenia like delusions and hallucinations.

I’m on clozapine 500mg. It has made my life so much better. But it took quite awhile for it to work.
