Just got my new shot(abilify maintena 300mg). It’s kinda freaking me out. I feel like I’m over medicated. And don’t know why I agreed to a 1 month shot of a new drug. I mean I’m gonna ride it out but I don’t like knowing there’s no way to get it out of my system. I guess I was just used to haldol depot. My old friend haldol. But I was starting to get td side effects. And I couldn’t loose weight so hopefully abilify let’s me loose weight. That’s all I ever wanted from an ap.

Thanks roxanna. I guess it’s better to feel something from the med than nothing. Sedating effects are good for me too because I have insomnia

About 1 to 1 and half months. I’m meant to get 250mg abilify injections monthly but I hated the side effects.

That’s why I freaked out when I got invega sustena knowing I couldn’t get it out.
