Just got done

Practicing piano. Practicing some Hanon and Czerny exercises. And playing a couple of pieces: “Air on the G String”, by Bach, and “Chrysanthemum”, by Scott Joplin. I’m enjoying my lessons very much. I’m finally enjoying practice after years and years, (thirteen years), of very hard, grueling work. I think I deserve this enjoyment.

Unfortunately, @jukebox, I like to practice but, I am no good at performance. Especially for an audience of more than one or two people. I get terrible performance anxiety when performing in front of a camera or in front of a large audience. I play piano purely for my own enjoyment. I’m afraid your kind request cannot be granted.

I understand…it takes some getting used to…a friend videoed me playing “landslide” on the guitar and singing and when I finally looked up after playing the song matt was crying holding the camera…haha…made me feel so good…never give up @SkinnyMe

That’s wonderful, @jukebox! My (former) gf would often tell me that a piece I played was “very nice”, or
“beautiful” and that would always make me feel good too.
