And now I feel convinced he doesn’t want to move in with me… his place is a nightmare and it doesn’t seem to change anytime I visit… but he says he wants to clear things out so he can put the house on the market… I don’t see this happening… I feel disheartened.

I know he loves me, I can tell. I do too. But it just feels like at this rate we aren’t getting anywhere. it’s been 7 years now.

We have been planning to move to a new place. For that to happen he has to put his house on the market but doesn’t feel like he wants to.

Yes I think he’s a hoarder but he’s not gonna admit it. I have no clue what else to do … I don’t know if my relationship is going anywhere. I’m staying cos I know he loves me and vice versa.

He might not know there is help for it out there. People call it “Planting a seed” when you tell someone there is help.
“Planting a seed” means that once a person knows there is help, the idea grows over time, that they too can get help.

I think our relationship will continue as it has been. But there will be no marriage. I dont want to lose him though … but maybe Ill try and suggest he can find someone else … It just feels he doesn’t want me.

Why do you want to get a new house? Sorry, I might be getting too technical. But the housing market is rough right now. Houses are currently selling for up to 3 times their actual value, and being fully sold within a week of going on the market. It could be that he is nervous about the prospect of selling his house before you guys find a new one, and then having to pay 3 times what that new one is actually worth.
