I haven’t done TMS but I’ve had a ketamine treatment, it’s pretty intense. I haven’t had a major depressive episode since I’ve done it so maybe it works, idk.
my pdoc discussed that with me. They said you have to have a session each day for some period of time, which makes it impractical for many working people.
ThaThat’s amazing. Is there a post in particular where he describes his experience? Would love to read a first hand account to see how it affected them.
the picture of someone sitting in the tms machine in the local mental health did not inspire me with much confidence but my doc said it does help some people.
the local clinic has a bunch of marketing material advertising all sorts of stuff. It was successful in getting me to ask about it but my doc doesn’t think I have serious enough depression to warrant talking about it further, which I am thankful for.
sitting in the machine with some contraption on your head might make for a good profile pic though
You know it’s a little intense but you do have a Dr. with you and it does feel good to release all that…um…negativity. I don’t know how to describe it but you cleanse your soul in a way.
