On my hike and there was a spiderweb and I avoided it by stopping right in my tracks on a dime a millisecond before I would’ve ran into the spiderweb. And then I went around it. but then I turned around and I got mauled by a pack of wild fishercats.
I read you have got ticks on you in the past. When I used to go the bush a lot when I was a teenager and was trying to live in the wild, I had a problem with ticks and leeches. I would tuck my jeans into my socks to stop the leeches and ticks from going up my legs.
Thanks for this reminder. I just checked myself for ticks and couldn’t find any
Ticks are a thing on the east coast of the USA
I live in Australia.
Yeah. I know. I didn’t realize there were ticks in Australia though
There definitely are. As well as leeches.
Also there are more dangerous things like snakes, and the funnel web spider.
Australia probably has the most dangerous wildlife of any continent
At least there are no big predators like bears. I would find bears scary.
I think some guy called Timonthy Treadwell and his girlfriend got killed by a bear in Alaska. Since I heard about that I am freaked out by bears.
In Florida we have pythons that came from Asia by mistake an invasive species and its killing everything
In Australia in the north there is a big problem with the introduced cane toad. It is poisonous to wildlife which eat it.
Maybe the smarter wildlife will learn and thrive
Also I forgot something. Australia does have a huge predator in the warmer north of it. It is the saltwater crocodile. They grow to be huge. And there have been people who have been killed by them. But I live in NSW Australia, in a more southern part.
Wow there’s an invasive species of python new you?
Never heard of that before lol
I knew about it.
It’s pretty far from me but I’ve been there twice
Just read it that’s hectic dude
I live in a southern part of Australia, which has a temperate climate. It gets cold in winter.
Does it snow? ???
