Iā€™ve seen/heard that the wildlife there is crazy. Huge snakes and reptiles, spiders, and the like lol maybe Iā€™m way off on that

Definitely in the outback for sure. Within big towns and cities there isnt much to worry about really. But yeah we have some very strange and unique wildlife in relation to other countries around the world. Like the kangaroo and the platypus etc. The platypus feeds its young by scratching its belly skin and milk secretes through the pores on the skin. No nipples or anything.

Yes.

  1. If its true that if from the US if you dig straight down you end up in China, where do you end up if you dig straight down in Australia? My personal guess is in a large hole, but Iā€™m not an expert.
  2. Do you all carry large knives and walk around saying ā€œgā€™dayā€ .
  3. Going by this thread, there are tons of smart asses in America and Canada. Is the smart ass population as prominent in Australia?

Vegemite is the bomb with butter! And itā€™s full of B vitamins!

As an Aussie I can say thereā€™s lots of wildlife but in the cities itā€™s not so bad.

Itā€™s such a massive continent and mostly people live on the coasts. Because itā€™s so big, Darwin can be 30Ā°c in winter and Canberra -2Ā°c.

Yeah drugs and crime seem to be everywhere now. And i do feel like it has changed a lot since i was a kid. Lots of division and polarisation similar to other western nations now. But not quite as bad as the US or UK yet i think.

Yeah tobacco and cigarettes are taxed so damn high that you gotta be rich to smoke. But because of that thousands of illegal chop chop tobacconists have opened and are booming. Like half of all smokers use illegal tobacco here now. Its like one fifth of the price.
