Like the title suggests I was wondering if there were job posts that cater to disabled people. I remember coming across one that promised such a thing but it was for only a particular state and it looked a bit underdeveloped. Maybe there would be a way that people would knowingly hire someone with sz and you wouldn’t have to hide it. Maybe I’m wrong and there isn’t such a site, but I’m asking if anyone else has heard of one.

With a quick search there is an abilityjobs.com website that pops up. I looked far enough to see that there are jobs in my local area. Anybody else have experience with this one to know if it works or not the way intended?

At my last job everyone knew I had sz and nobody cared. You just have to find a good company. Some places that offer jobs to disabled folks pay sub-minimum wages, so watch out for that.

Also another site is gettinghired.com. Maybe I’ll find others. Still don’t know how useful they are.

Where I live they have disability employment job seeker agencies .
I am registered with one.
One is required to go there every fortnight and look for certain amount jobs to receive centrelink payment.
Subsidies can be offered to employer and often they are upfront that the employee is disabled.
The agency can contact job sites on your behalf to assist and help you get interviews and or work.

Another newish type development. With the US government your disability gives you a special hiring authority so I guess that is like a couple of extra points. Hopefully it couldn’t hurt in getting a job. So I’m going to try and ask my doctor to get a note describing that I’m schizophrenic. You need a scanned doctors note or something for proof when you apply at USAJOBS.com.
There is a company called Department of Vocation and Rehabilitation (DVR). They have wonderful services. Some of the services they provide is job search, money for interview clothing, and help while on the job to make sure it is working out for you. If you are on disability, they help with the Ticket to Work program. I was using it to go back to school, but had to drop out when I had some physical and mental health issues. I know that these offices are in Minnesota and in Washington states, so I’m assuming that they are in other states as well. I hope this helps.
