I’ve done all kinds of self-harm. Yet only one did so much damage to me. I was 11 when I had an overdose- I had a seizure and I fell. Hitting my head HARD in the cold floor, I still remember it so lively, it was December 1st. I ended up with a traumatic brain injury and I feel like it dumbed me down. Me too. I had to learn how to walk, talk, and read again. Speech therapy helped a LOT. So did Vestibular therapy. I am not as smart as I used to be. But I was able to regain a lot of what I thought was lost forever.

For most situations, there’s always tomorrow. Keep trying. Have faith. Is the best I can come up with.

Recovery from psychosis takes a long time. The first couple of years I can’t even remember.
The important thing is to find the right meds.
Good luck.
