Brain damage

Does anybody else on here have pretty bad brain damage from psychosis? If you feel like your brain is pretty bad with damage. Tell me what’s your recent effort to get better? I just started Lions mane again

I have brain damage from my many concussions.

That probably feel different from the stuff I feel. How did you hit your head?

my pdoc told me each psychosis causes brain damage.

I have pulsatile tinnitus sometimes. Slighlty concerned it’s to do with cardiovascular issues in my brain.

I know that the more I thought about and talked about how sick I was, the sicker I was.

Yeah I had alot of psychosis. My brain is pretty corrupted and damaged. Mornings are the best time for me. Some people think that forcing your brain to function is the best way to try to get better. I try to take a round about way. Forcing it just makes you feel damage. And will make you have a shitty life. You can’t get neuro plasticity that way. I try to feel the least amount of damage and sneak in ways of functioning. And soaking up information. Its hard. I don’t know if that makes sense. I think you get the idea

Football, skiing accident, gym class collision, fist fight.

Like driving and listening to music are still smooth almost. I’ve learned Calgary alot better. I’m still capable of learning. That’s the best way. Soak it up

What are you fighting for ? Lol.

That’s true. When all you can do is tell people about what it feels like to be you. And describing your brain. You have problems

Yeah i feel like i have brain damage. From schizophrenia, from starting antipsychotics at 11, maybe from a couple very hard hits to the head. I’m not really doing anything about it. But idk if not being able to talk is from brain damage or from schizophrenia (i think from schizophrenia) but smoking helps that and im doing it for now…gotta quit tho…can’t afford it.

Not from psychosis for me. I got some memory damage from ECT, but it’s slowly coming back.

It was determined I had brain damage to the prefrontal cortex… the approximate cause they said was due to both the medication and my condition. However, I recall things changing from the moment I took antipsychotics.
I see cognitive activities such as riddles, reading and studying to help me regain my ability. This worked tremendously.

Exercise gives good gains and helps overall fitness as well as brain. You can start small and do things like walking briskly and it pays off in the long run.

Maybe lons mane would help with your memory. It’s good for Alzheimer’s and dementia. I’m using it for brain cell regeneration and some immediate memory. I need help. Lol
