glad to hear you can read again! i havent been able to concentrate so much these past few years as well. I do like reading quote books tho. books where you can just pick up and read for 10 minutes and then stop anywhere

@POET @anon25873142 I stop a lot I’ll finish a page stop for a few minutes then read a few more pages, stop and repeat (I’ve also read these books since I was a teen) I was so bad I struggled with reading too, never give up! You got this !

JN Cheney’s Backyard Starship series. Currently on book 8 of 16 currently out. Series will be 25 books.
Its a hilarious sci-fi series. Icky is my favorite.

I want to get to reading science books again. Last thing I read was a molecular biology book 1700 pages, I read 150.

Trying for like the fifth time to get into Gardens of the Moon by Steve Erickson. It’s an Epic sword and sorcery type of thing and the first of 5 books. Was trying to fill the void game of thrones left when I picked it up. It’s super convoluted with a million characters so on paper the perfect thing to replace game of thrones with. Just having trouble getting into it.

I just finished reading Tyson Fury gloves off about the Gypsy king a traveller who became world heavyweight boxing champion.
It starts with the lines this book is dedicated to anyone with mental health problems.

Ive been reading the complete robot by isaac asimov. Its a collection of short science fiction stories about robots and AI by one of the greatest sci fi writers of all time. Only just started it though. I love old school sci fi written back in the day. I think its more interesting than the modern stuff.
My gf is obsessed with twilight. Good that you are getting back into it!

I’m not reading much these past few weeks. I read four books quickly and burned out. I found a new author named Seraphina Nova Glass and enjoyed two of her books. She is a successful screenplay writer and recently started writing thrillers. The other author was another thriller writer named Freida McFadden.

I’m reading a romance novel.
One of those cheap short easy to read ones that always has a happy ending .
Next might be Jim Morrisons (the dead singer) book as my x recommended it.
No one here gets out alive I think it’s called.
Previously I read Marian pretzel book on surviving nazis and a woman’s book on surviving nazis .
Also read Tyler Henry book and Matt Frazer book.
Tried reading the art of not giving a fu. C k but i didn’t like it.
Makes no sense to me.
I don’t understand or agree with it.
My other x recommended it but yeah I just can’t read it.
Only read a few pages or so.
Got a Victoria Beckham autobiography to read and another book by another medium and more romance novels.

I’m mostly reading mathematics textbooks from my university, I do have a book on black holes written by brian cox as well but i’m not really reading it tbh. Focused on studies for now, and i’m also starting to think nuclear physics is more my thing.
