I've been consuming pathological amounts of sugar

I have been consuming a LOT of sugar. I used it as a mood enhancer. I would fix a small bowl of oatmeal and put five tablespoons of sugar on it. I’d slather jam a quarter inch thick on my bread. I quit that today for my health. I needed to.

I love carbs, but I don’t really need that much sugar to feel good. Maybe you’re depressed.

I wouldn’t say I’m badly depressed. It’s more like I am addicted to this manic high. It’s where I live.

I have 2 cans of pepsi or cola a day which in total is about 20 teaspoons of sugar.

I’m not going to try to tell you how to live your life, but you might think about your health. The other day I walked across town to mail a package, and I got far more stressed by it than I should have been.

Quitting sugar is very hard task. Good luck.i tried to quit. But its just impossible for me.

well good for you @crimby and good for you for not drinking anymore…I think there might be a connection to you quitting drinking and your love for sugar.
