Why did they put you on Olanzapine it’s notorious for sugar and diabetes? What were you on before and why did they change it to olanzapine

I use granulated stevia. I have been using it for years and to me it is just like sugar used to be for me.

It is expensive though; and stevia is a natural alternative from plants to other ‘fake’ sugars, so to me is worth it.

i couldn’t recommend it enough!

I have to have sweets every now and then. I need sugar in my coffee in the morning or I don’t feel satisfied. I don’t eat a whole lot and I don’t drink a lot of soda, but I eat added sugar everyday.

I heard cancer feeds on sugar if prevalent. just kind of scared me. but I don’t have cancer. so there’s that.

I used to be addicted to sugar, but a Type 2 diabetes diagnosis has made it necessary to curb my intake. They put me on Mounjaro and now if I eat too much sugar I feel really sick. After a few overindulges I learned my lesson!

I’m having 5 sugars in a large iced latte during my back workout. I start at 9pm. I need the energy. And it tastes sooo good.

I was not allowed much sugar as a kid. When I became an adult I would sometimes binge eat it. But now as a brittle diabetic I can’t eat sugar anymore unless my blood sugar is critically low. I’m okay with that, except sometimes I really miss the odd sour patch kids and 3 musketeer bars. :woman_shrugging:t2:

I’m totally addicted to sugar. Always have been. I’d be a miserable diabetic. That’s why I count my calories every day to keep my weight down. It’s also one of the reasons I’ve been doing yoga for 20 years. All to prevent obesity and diabetes.

You don’t become diabetic by eating too much sugar. There are many causes. That’s not the reason I’m a diabetic anyway. I don’t regret eating the sugar when I could though. It was a part of my life i don’t regret.
