We celebrated our Christmas in the clubhouse yesterday, and I had three servings of very rich desert. I went home feeling great, but when I woke up this morning I felt draggy and depressed. Then I ate a chocolate bar my niece had sent me, and I felt great. I’ve noticed numerous other times that I get a pretty good lift in mood from consuming sugar. Is anyone else on this site addicted to sugar?
Definitely lol 1515
I certainly am quite fond of sugar. I usually have two bits of chocolate per day - whether it be a chocolate bar or just a couple pieces broken off from the bar, i always have to have it.
i do love sugar but not currently so dependant on it. I used to drink atleast one or two energy drinks a day tho
I put 3 tablets of Canderel in each coffee I drink. I have a sweet tooth.
Not sugar per se. Just junk food.
Totally, I was obese because of sugar
i quit in April after trying to quit for 8 years
i go to overeaters anonymous meetings and follow a 12 step program
I was in Problem Eaters Anonymous years ago. It really helped.

it’s helping so much
@Loke
i’m on my way to a normal weight

Wow. That’s wonderful!
İ really don t like sugar.my hunger blood sugar levels are 86 so its perfect.sugar ( and their synthetic generics) is secret killer of the bodies.
The more sugar I eat, the more I crave. Vicious cycle. I try to avoid it as much as I can now.
I’ve tried to stop buying myself treats every time I’m out. But I do love sugar in my coffee, I can’t change that it would seem
I normally have a piece of cake when I’m having a beer or 2.
Sugars awesome for your energy levels.
Yes, and I am diabetic. Sugar addiction and diabetes do not fit well together.
I do consume significantly less sugar than I used to though. I’ve cut out almost all sugar in drinks. That makes a big difference.
I used to be not anymore
I crave sweet snacks sometimes, but i crave junk food more like chips and fast food.
No question about it. Once I get enough of a taste of it I can’t stop until it’s gone. It’s not true with the artificial stuff due to the side effects.
