Yesterday while I was taking a nap my 19 year old daughter came over to my house and got onto my computer and got into my paypal account and my bank account and sent herself some money. She stole money from me. This isn’t the first time she’s stolen from me and other people. If fact she got convicted of a burglary when she was a minor and did a year in juvenile detention when she was 17. Just a side note, the memo section in the paypal transaction said “kill yourself b*tch” I don’t know what to do. I’m so upset I’m still shaking. I’ve decided not to contact the police but I don’t want her in my house anymore.

Give her a week to return the money or tell her you are going to the authorities.
And never let her again into your home unsupervised.

Sounds like you probably should contact the police or she’ll keep abusing you. What a terrible thing to have done to you.

I’m sorry that happened to you @Leaf. That’s a terrible thing for a family member to do. I agree with what @PatrickT posted.
Also, you might ask your daughter about the memo note — was that directed at you or was that directed at herself (just to make sure your daughter is not suicidal).
If your daughter has a key to your home, you might want to have the locks changed.

Time to change all passwords and lock the house down, tell her till she comes up with a plan to return the money she is not allowed in the house, I had a brother years ago that stole everything he could get his hands on, only way to stop it was distant myself from him.

@Leaf wow sorry to hear that. I wonder if the allow an inch take a foot applies here? But besides that I would say love is corrective. For my family if someone is going down the wrong path we help them stay on course through disciplinary actions.
