It smells like cat pee in my house but I can’t find the source

I may have to call a professional carpet cleaner. Any ideas?

You may have a mold in your house. Look for mold, if it isn’t that bad a dehumidifier may do the trick, but if it’s a lot then you need to call a pro.

Walk around your home with a black-light. It will light up any urine spots. After we moved into this house, we walked around with a black-light, and we found urine in the baseboards and spots on the carpet! We had to replace some carpet and baseboards.

We wouldn’t have been able to know exactly where the urine was if it weren’t for the black-light.

@pob if I had my druthers I wouldn’t have animals but these are the farm cats and they sneak in my house especially if I forget to close my door. I keep my litter box clean. My sister when she lived with me had a dog that peed in my house. Idk. Will figure it out. Maybe have to buy a black light.

I mean I like animals I just don’t like having to worry about odors.

My first guess would be a cat.

One time, I was convinced my sisters daughters cat had peed on my sisters floor based on the smell. But it actually turned out to be rotted food in her fridge. So crazy! I like the black light idea
