Any one else don’t celebrate, never have, nor want people IRL to wish you a happy birthday. My sister said hey “your” birthday is coming up and I just ignored it. Hoping she doesn’t get me anything.
I just don’t want the attention. I’m really weird.
I have it too. I never celebrate my birthday, partly because its the 27 of december and close to Christmas, but mostly because i don’t like to be celebrated in general. It feels awkward and strange.
On my birthday I just do the same things as on any other day.
I don’t celebrate Christmas either, but that’s because I really, really don’t like christmas.
Uncle Scrooge was right to begin with, he should never have given in to the spirit of christmas.
Yeah. It’s hard having a birthday between thanksgiving and Christmas especially when I don’t like the attention.
I also don’t celebrate Christmas anymore. Grew up catholic so it was a big deal but I don’t want to be around people. We are telling everyone we’re traveling for Xmas so don’t invite us.
Thank you. I’ll be 44 soon. I’m okay with talking about it here. But I really don’t like parties presents and people coming up to me to make me feel special.
I live with my parents. On all our birthdays we order take out food from wherever the birthday person wants to eat. Then we have ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins, made from the type of ice cream they like. We give them a card and wish them happy birthday, then take some pictures. We don’t exchange gifts anymore.
