but i feel like schizophrenics are less likely to be criminally insane. psychotic people are so disorganized in thinking during the episodes that they are much less successful than others when comitting a more severe crime. i feel like there are many more criminals who are not psychotic but just lack empathy who do these things. i was watching criminal psychology videos and it seems most of the people who comitted things like murder are not delusional or psychotic and are usually driven by a clear motive and always present themselves as competent in interrogations and court, somehow tho schizophrenics are the ones who get the serial killer stereotype label, i feel like schizophrenics may think of things like this more but it is mostly due to fear and intrusive thoughts that put your biggest fears and worst possible thing you can think of in your head. schizophrenia is so misunderstood
