Murders, out of approximately 16,400 total, were committed by schizophrenics. So, do we really need all that propaganda on tv? This is based on the fact that 10% of murders are committed by the mentally ill, and 2.8% of the population is bipolar and 1% is schizophrenic.

I don’t think I will ever kill someone. I’ve been totally psychotic and thought someone was responsible for planting a brainchip in my head. The worst I did was tell her ‘I will get you for this’. I just think -like most mentally ill- I don’t have it in me.

Well it might be a little higher. Up to about 900. In England, about 5% of murders are committed by schizophrenics. I just read an article about how 10% of murders are committed by the mentally ill. I couldn’t find any information about whether bipolars are more dangerous. I just estimated by the occurrence in the population. But the point is, about 5% of murders are committed by schizophrenics and propagandists are always exaggerating who’s responsible.
Usually violent offenders are not on meds.
Take meds and you won’t kill anyone.
