I just feel like sz doesn’t fully describe what im going through
I understand this. I can’t tell you how many different diagnoses I’ve had. But in all fairness it is very difficult to discern. And I think about it this way…. For me, if it is difficult for me to describe and I feel it doesn’t quite fit, how is someone else supposed to diagnose it correctly?
If you can get another opinion and/or be honest with current providers
I talked to my doc about this but he just said its normal to doubt when sz… i feel like he didn’t get me
You keep saying/thinking that people don’t “get” you. I think a lot of people here can relate to what you post – we’ve all been there
i think differently because I can’t relate to most of you
There are people here with the same afflictions you have, whatever they may ultimately be. Autism, sz, ocd, add, whatever
yea but most aren’t
If you can’t relate to people on any given forum/blog/online hangout, then why still participate? Just curious
idk tbh
i used to relate but not anymore
A diagnosis of schizophrenia is not made lightly
Also we are not carbon copies. It’s a spectrum
Same old song and dance with you @Crystal-Cotton
I just need to get rid of it
Getting rid of a label wouldn’t change anything. You would still be you with the same problems.
ya but i dont have the symptoms so id be good without it
Well that’s good. I’m happy you don’t have schizophrenia. But you can’t go through life not being labeled by others. People like to label others. Don’t be so ■■■■■■■ offended by everything.
i just dont want to be labeled as something that ruins your whole life
My life is going just fine with it. Why do you think it is ruining your life having it?
Your current thought process is doing that not the diagnosis
