Is there any power in forgiveness....?

I think there is, it means you rose above it

I agree. I think forgiving people frees you of bitterness which leads to having a happier life.

I forgave a man that tried to murder me, 12 inch slash/scar on my neck and stabbed in the back

Sometimes I’m quicker to forgive a certain person type then another I think though. I forgive a sincere humble person before whatevers opposite of that

There are different levels of forgiveness. I used to get involved with people I didn’t wanna. Now I just hang out with people I want to. So it’s easier to forgive my current crowd. I’m wiser about the situations I get myself in

when I forgive I offer it up to the universe to judge the case in everything

For me forgiveness is letting go of bitterness toward someone but not saying what they did is ok. I wouldn’t have a beer with someone who tried to kill me

I believe, that yes. I needed to forgive to some people to feel free, yeap. And this helped. There wasn’t a med who helped on this bitterness, yeap… Its a good thing to forgive, but not always forget, yeap.

I forgave my stepdad for the point-blank face screaming that happened often when I was a kid because it was simply easier to not be angry at him forever. Anger is exhausting stuff. Now he’s doing new stuff, not invading my personal space anymore just angry tones and foul language and saying stuff I’m not allowed to disagree with or have a personal opinion on, lest I get threatened with getting kicked out. Thank goodness I’m moving in a few months!
