it’s almost too much for me I think…I don’t know…now I doubt I will try to watch game of thrones too…I am too much of a fraidy cat.

gosh that was what I was afraid of…does it get gory?
GOT’s is very good but it’s violent and has lots of sex/nudity. It’s fantasy though so it wasn’ that confronting to me but it does have it’s moments. It’s worth sitting through though as it’s a very welll made and produced experience.

You should be fine if you can handle season 1. I recommend finishing it, it’s great. GoT is much more violent and potentially triggering IMHO.

yes, I saw the first season of GoT. I started the second season but the violence chased me away the first time…thanks for the heads up on Stranger Things…we watched another episode and I 'm hooked again…it just gets a bit intense.

It’s a great show. As the seasons go on they kind of build on the “upside down” and who’s behind it and the creatures in it.

My daughter was trying to get me hooked on GoT. I walked away when an infant was killed. I’ll watch some trashy stuff, but that’s a hard pass for me. For ST, I don’t think the second season was as good as the first. Still need to watch 3 and 4.
Putting babies to the sword is like Medieval Power Struggle 101… so long as a legitimate heir lives to challenge you, you cannot sit on the throne.
I hated GoT season 1 because it felt like a Soap Opera. Then the Season 1 finale happened and I was frikkin hooked through until the end of the series. What a ride. More than enough action to not be merely a soap opera, however I will say so far the new spinoff House of Dragon does indeed feel like a Soap Opera. Hopefully they show more combat.
The only thing I didn’t like about GoT were the torture scenes, but again, that happened a lot in the dark ages so I just lived with it. Made me feel better about my life a little too.
yes @anon82948922 that was exactly when I stopped watching GoT too…going to brave it out next year and watch it still I think…I really want to see what everyone is talking about.

Worth the time definitely.
Game of Thrones I stopped watching at season 5
Once it ended, I just got the gist of it from YouTube and glad I did not waste my time with it
