And then forevermore there will never ever be another Game of Thrones Sunday to look forward to. What can I say, we all knew it was leading to this!
I’m gonna miss GoT, and won’t have any other reason to subscribe other than Real Time, and I don’t think that one show alone is worth a HBO subscription. Last Week Tonight is pretty funny also… but we’ll probably cancel our subscription after finishing GoT and watching the Deadwood movie.
Yeah it was such a good ride. I only got onboard after season 6 or so. Caught up and watched three series when they came out. Amazing storytelling and so well made. Read the books and the television was so faithfully represented. I’ll miss it. It was worthy of spending some time in and there were so many holy shite moments in the whole!
Looking forward to the television adaption of the Witcher. Hoping that is as well done!
If you like reading it’s worth reading. Trouble is that the television was so close to the books. You know what is going to happen and you already have an idea of who is who. I’d say just watch the shows unless your a big reader.
I always love it when my mom says “they did stuff like that back then!” I’m like yes, but this is Westeros, it’s not Earth! But I always end up agreeing that it’s similar to medieval… IDK, Britain? Weren’t they doing Knightly stuff around 600 AD?
My prediction. Jon snow sees danearys is touched by the Targaryen madness following her torching of kings landing. He ends up sacrificing himself and taking out dani and drogon by igniting wildfire.
