i just rewatched the first ep of the season to get my dad caught up on it going to watch new ep when it comes on tonight, show is great idk what will replace GOT once its gone that is as good of a show

That show triggers the hell out of me. I can’t watch it. I may be able to now. My wife is about 5 seasons behind on it. But when I caught a couple segments of it years ago I had to leave the room.
I have gotten a little better though. The news used to bother me bad also and I don’t seem to get triggered by it as often anymore. I don’t make a habit of watching it but my wife will put on from time to time. She knows I don’t like it though. She tells me if something is going on I need to know about.
One does not simply celebrate Easter!
I’m surprised to hear that you deal with triggers TomCat, you being in the workforce and all. I wish you didn’t have to deal with that.

I still get triggered and I still have symptoms but I am stable
I hope work doesn’t trigger me this time. That’s been my problem in the past. I always thought my bosses were working for the government and out to get me but now I will be working for the government so the tables are turned.

GOT doesn’t bother me at all @TomCat . My triggers are all related to terrorism.
I like fantasy literature and movies. For me it’s just the ultimate in escapism. They may be brutal or realistic in tone but they aren’t real in any way. I can see why it would be triggering for some but GOT really is a well done fantasy story. It is pretty graphic at times but for me it’s still just fantasy.
