Yes it seems like it to me. It is the emotions I get from psychosis though. But there are times when psychosis is actually entirely an emotion to me.
I wouldn’t call it emotions, unless it’s paranoia. Or fear.
It must be a mix of jumbled thoughts and processes that result in emotions.
Often extreme and wild that cannot be tamed through rational thought.
On a tangent off reality that is skewed and biased.
Unable to conform to ‘normal’ standards.
Ground yourself, try to be blank and relax…

Mine is more thoughts and frontal lobe dysfunction than emotions.

perhaps its a state where the emotions becauseof a bodily ailment overcome logic? not sure
Seems like it’s mostly thoughts for me. Then those thoughts become emotions, but the thoughts come first for sure
It affects your emotional state but it’s not emotions. It’s an altered state of the brain. My theory (and don’t take my words for truth) is that when something in your brain is not working well, it negatively affects every mental process, including emotions and thoughts. It’s not a thing you can control your reaction to (referring to psychosis) unless you are medicated.
We are biological machines and if something breaks in our system it affects all of it.

I think its the other way round. Its the emotions that can cause psychosis in my belief. No matter what you say - when someone is unwell, there is always a deep rooted reason behind it - if you look deep enough.
I think its just your brain having a short circuit and affecting your senses - cos it doesnt have the skills to deal with what its presented with.

I think it also has to do with stress, because when I have stress, I notice that psychosis gets worse, plus a lot of stress led to psychosis.
I feel that the name sz is perfect for sz in my case. Split mind.
I have two different ways of life clashing.
