I think the consensus is “healthy but fattening.”

I eat a fair amount of the stuff.

Wait it’s not?

Pretty much a junk food. The fats in it are the bad kind that cause inflammation too (arachidonic acid.)

As long as you don’t get any with loads of sugar like most brands.

I know it tastes good at least

I was kinda hoping it would be in the same healthy category as avocado

Thinking about it my grandmother goes on about how there’s too much sugar in it, so she gets natural peanut butter. I came to find out I do in fact like the sugar in peanut butter, and now I definitely notice it’s there after trying the natural stuff.’

I think the all natural stuff that’s just nuts and oil is generally healthy. I eat loads of peanut butter as a holdover from my vegetarian days.

compare it to what else you would be eating in it’s place. I say go for the peanut butter. GO FOR IT SON.

Peanut butter is high in healthy fats.
It’s high in calories but it’s healthy overall, especially if it’s the natural kind.

I love peanut butter. I try to use it sparingly however because it is so fattening. My nutritionist encourages me to eat it because of the protein content.

jiff had mainly peanuts and not much.oil added. has sugar but seems lile not too much.
I get xtra crunchy. .more real nuts. Pea nuts do have a ‘bad’ kind of fat so don’t overdo it.
