Happens every month. Last Friday of the month folk get paid so it is straight to the pub

Me and my buddies rarely go to the local Pub anymore. They’re charging $8.50 Canadian for a draft. A few of those plus a gratuity for the wait staff, and you’re looking at around $30.00.

We just buy cases now from the Beer Store and get together at each other’s places on the weekends. I’m only drinking light beer now…perhaps 3 at one gathering. I’ve really toned it down since the kids were born…going on 15 years.

That’s what i always preferred to do anyway. Get together at someone’s house. Or drink alone in my own. I was never a bar kind of guy.
