When I switched from zyprexa to loxapine I lost 20 lbs. I really really tried to lose more but was never able. I stayed that weight for 10 years with an effort. I’m back on zyprexa, now 10 mg, and I weigh 260 lbs although I rarely get very hungry, I just started eating a lot of chocolate, kids cereal, cookies and ice cream. The zyprexa I take now is called Lybalvi and has an added medicine for weight loss. I would suggest it, I really don’t get hungry much, it’s just the sweets.

I’m very far from saying that losing weight on AP meds is easy. I am, in fact, convinced that it is very nigh impossible for too many people. I lost weight once. I’m not so sure I could do it again on these meds. But, I’m trying.
