Not saying szs necessarily think those but I’m just saying my ”delusions” were never bizarre

I often feel the same … I accept the treatment though cos I accept the psychosis, not the diagnosis.

I don’t think so. I know, no one likes what I say. But the cardinal sign of schizophrenia is auditory hallucinations. I think you’ve been traumatized by your experience which was in response to impulsive behavior. I don’t understand why you’re diagnosed that way. Your experience could produce paranoia.
You think your mother is going to kill you. Then you said it was an ongoing delusion that you’ve had. Then you said it was a mild delusion and you even made a debate about it. Then you said it wasn’t a mild delusion?
You keep going back and forth with this. Believing a family member is going to kill you without no reason is bizarre!
All you do is debate about your condition. Every day, all the time and you keep arguing without having no substance. Then you end up at the psych ward, and you say it’s only because of anxiety?
I say accept that you might need meds and that it will take time before they work.
I have been on AP’s for 10 years and I still battle my condition every day.
My advice to you is to do something else with your time than this constant arguing. It’s not doing anyone any good.
Who knows, you might not need meds in the near future? But for now your probably need them.

your point makes sense, mother killing you is a nonbizarre delusion yes, but severity is more complex
If you are delusional it’s not up to you anymore. That’s what psychosis is!
In some ways I agree that szs shouldnt be treated against will until they harm, but you are not being given that leeway.

Are you on an antidepressant? Ocd is a tough one but it’s not as severe as sz!

well at the beginning I was on sertraline and one other med I don’t remember but they didn’t help
i feel like nothing helps tbh
