True that @genbu…some ppl lol
I want be a dating coach.
funny. “shitty” job is permitted but writing “■■■■” is not…
That is an interesting job
Sweden.
It has a very good pay/cost of living ratio.
Yeah, but it demands a lot of experience.
No, in almost all states a minimum wage job does not cover rent. Move to Europe!
years ago my mother worked as a waitress and my dad worked as a dishwasher or my mom worked as a maid and my dad had no job. there were times when neither would have jobs. anyway my parents raised my brother an i on their weekly paychecks making less than what most families had. we didn’t have a car… we didn’t have ways to doctor offices so we just didn’t go. we didn’t have food stamps either. but we lived in a trailer where sometimes we wouldn’t have electricity or gas but we always had cigs, weed and beer.
my partner, me and my father in law pay the bills. i pay 705 in monthly rent out of 735 and my partner got a new job at a bacon factory. my father in works as a truck driver, in a house with 12 people its hard to be one of the few paying bills
If you want a “shitty” job and make tons become a plumber. You will be loaded
If you could get SSI and government housing, yeah. But there’s not that much housing affordable with a minimum wage job. I can’t remember exactly the relative statistics but they aren’t good.
I see. I’ll keep myself in Brazil. There are many ways of having success. I can even start a business, but at first I need a job. I’ll phone an employer that interest on me tomorrow.
Here in Canada, I have to work a full time job with medium pay range which is approx 20-25$ an hour 7 hours a day, I can live a good life middle class and also travel once a year.
A couple together if they both work and make 100-200k a year can live a great life. It is very comfortable for sure but it is way too boring.
Brazil is an exciting place to be. You have your parents. If you immigrate you will feel very lonely because the culture is different. Sure you make friends but it is not the same like hometown.
I don’t think you can immigrate with a mental illness.
Travel everywhere for a visit and enjoy your hometown and familiarity of people and location.
There are homeless shelters, many are crowded but there is shelter. As for renting a place of your own, yes it is possible! Even in some places in Mexico! You can pay room and board. Or work as a handyman! Usually though, you might have to rent a room in a house, or a boarding care. Look up independent living facilities and assisted living facilities in the United States. Also you can go to a Catholic parish and seek help, you must be off drugs usually though and if a particular location in that Catholic church is not helpful, go to another one. Of course that does not mean it will be granted the first day, and some would send a person to a rehabilitation facility or a jail so be careful. It is not impossible to be part of the community! In the United States you can approach a fire department and tell them you are trying to stay off drugs. Google search Father Joe’s Village in San Diego and send an email asking for help in your location if possible, if not search for Monte Maria in Tijuana. Go to a diocese where a bishop resides if you have to. Hah just don’t go telling them your delusional thoughts or they might raise an eyebrow on some exorcist ■■■■ lol. Besides that look for a work placement agency, In would not call these things a good job, but a rewarding experience. Word of advice, just be quiet as kept. Or speak only whennspoken to for a bit if you decide to seek help.
Not true, but people from Somalia here are afraid to be judged because of the current travel ban by the current president of the United States of America. It isn’t common either though. As well as from Venezuela and every country on the banned list. The problem is partly that Donald Trump can do some idiotic things. Donald Trump does not represent the popular democratic vote of the United States of America. He stole the presidency off of economicallt wealthy white privileged electoral vote.
