Is it possible to get back our emotions?

You should definitely ask your pdoc about Rexulti

I asked about it, he said it has the same side effects as Abilify. Rexulti and Abilify both have warnings about addictions by the FDA and Health Canada.

Oh darn it. Well I wish you would try an antidepressant

I wish I could think of some way to help you because you seem sweet

Zinc deficiency can cause low emotions. For me it helps to feel some emotions. Another thing which help me to feel emotions is phosphatidylserine. Both of these substances help to improve sleep too thus lack of quality sleep at night might be one reason for lack of emotions.

Lione’s mane mushroom and omega 3 helps to give vivid dreams at night may be it too help to activate mind but zinc and phosphatidylserine is the best pick.

Thats a tough question @anon67051439, it can be answered in many ways. Quite frankly, I struggled with that question myself many times over the years and while studying neurology in school. I remember asking the neurology instructor that after class. The doctor just smiled and told me, you tell me. Im inclined to say, yes, essentially, in its elemental form, but there is much more to it than that. If you ask a charmin, a philosopher, an athiest, a doctor, a child or the mentally ill you will get a different answer.
Exactly how the brain operates remains one of the biggest unsolved mysteries, and it seems the more we probe its secrets, the more surprises we find.

After finally getting a chance to read most of the thread, I would say that you do feel emotion. Its awareness of feeling this that you lack or filter out unintentionally. If something god forbidding were to happen to someone you are close with you would surly feel emotion. You also like to play alod of CofD and you have some excitement and joy from that along with the other things you like. You also get a bit stressed when you are unable to vape im assuming. Emotions are part of personality. With the heritage that you are emotions are not really the foremost of expression culturally, so you have to consider that too. I wouldnt go on the approach of changing your meds because of it, that likly wont make things better but if anything can make things worse. Afterall you are stable and have been for some time now. I would instead focusing more on feeling and incorporating that into your daily activities and experiences. Start with joy, go do something you enjoy something that you find fun and take a moment to embrase it.
