Is it okay take tablets on alternative days?

I am taking 50mg amisulpride for the past 4 years. Is it okay to take the tablet on alternative days? I don’t have any positive symptoms.

I’d ask your doctor. The tablet could be the reason you don’t have positive symptoms. Lower the dose, and the problems could come back. This summer, I tried lowering my dose by 5 mg (I was taking Abilify). I had my doctor’s permission. The horrible noise sensitivity came back. My voices became louder and more numerous. I lasted a month on the lower dose.

You should take your meds the way it was prescribed by your doctor

It’s not advisable to mess around with your meds

It’s a bad idea to skip meds unless your doctor has said you’re allowed to. As previously mentioned, the meds are likely why you’re feeling okay, and skipping them will have you feeling much less okay.

Okay. I think I will continue with the current dosage itself.

Welcome!

Yes as most said, follow your doctor’s orders
You may be good right now because the treatment is right

If you mess around, you risk a relapse
