Grass is always greener on the other side I suppose.

There’s a quote by soren Kierkegaard, it’s like " “Marry, and you will regret it; don’t marry, you will also regret it”

For a while I was against marriage because of all the aged men who told me not to :'D

I didn’t have a bunch of men around my daughter either when she was little. I seem to be cursed though I never could get a date. And I wasn’t a bad looking woman. And I had a good job. I was good at my job. So IDK. I’m alone now and it doesn’t bother me. I wanted to be married I was a hopeless romantic but bad experiences has changed that

My aunt and uncle were married for like 40+ years. He died of cancer last year in June. They were absolutely crazy about each other. My uncle Dave was an amazing human being

Nothing wrong with being alone so long as your content that way.

Life is short. Everyday is a new lesson. In the end we’re all hypocrites. A young man wants to get married. An old man wants companionship. An old fool trying to be young again. A young man trying to be mature. Everyone wants to be something they are not. Just be yourself. Whatever it is just change your mind tomorrow. It’s just human nature.

@SkinnyMe , I was abused in my first marriage, so I understand not wanting to be married.

However, I’m the kind of person who always wanted companionship that was very deep and open. By open I mean we can tell each other everything. I’ve always wanted love.

I have that in my marriage so it’s worth it to me to try again. We’ve now been married 10.5 years
