I have posted elsewhere about whether my urge for a sex change was either (a) a delusional obsession that faded as I became less acutely ill (b) an autistic ‘interest’ that passed or whether © the reduction in such feelings was a self protective psychological mechanism to the realisation that given my problems the go ahead for reassignment was unlikely.
I’ve never felt that my authentic gender was different than my birth gender, buy I have dressed in drag several times and I’d like to wear makeup, but I never do.
@firemonkey you seem like such a smart person! I’m jealous
I tried wearing makeup but I think because of ‘dyspraxia’(non dxed) I was no good at it.
@firemonkey Are you currently happy being a man? I suppose if your desire faded, it is one of the options you listed. Like @kindness, I have always felt in sync with my birth gender-female
I do love the look of some men wearing makeup (I see it as a blending of gender attributes).
Adam Lambert (American singer) has beautiful smokey eyes.
I wouldn’t say I was happy rather than it is something I’ve come to accept. Certainly wouldn’t be unhappy if I woke up a woman later today.
aha, I see. I love being a woman. If I (with the exact same spirit) had been born in a man’s body, I would definitely seek out a way to become a woman. I wouldn’t be on the fence about it at all, although I know some people are.
I love Adam Lambert. Big fan. He also has a beautiful voice.
I also love wearing make-up as a woman. I love doing my hair etc. The meds make me so damn tired that I don’t though
I’m heterosexual (though I’ve been relationships with three men–not at the same time–our lady of high standards), but men with black eyeliner look good.
I’m all about people being who they are. ya know? be that men with eyeliner, women with heels, a faux hawk or whatever. I appreciate individuality. Specifically, though, yes some men rocking the make-up look good. Adam lambert can pull it off.
