Is breathing talking?

Always wonder this, can anyone say for certain?

hmm…I really never thought about it like that? Maybe our minds are thinking while we are breathing and maybe mouthing the words or like singing a son on our breath?

with a closed mouth?

hmm…I thought maybe you meant with an open mouth. We can certainly talk in our minds while our mouths are shut?

I mean like conversations with a closed mouth?
it’s not the secret of the world then?
ah hell

you would have to have telepathy to talk with your mouths closed I think. Is that what you are talking about? I don’t believe in telepathy.

No not telepathy, just speaking to each other - both people conscious
by breath rhythm and sounds

sounds like an ancient way of talking somehow. Interesting topic.

So it was another delusion… long night… in a way it’s my happy place that one - breathing is talking
unfortunately now been up all night.

It is really annoying because i don’t know if i should take another pill, (the optional antipsychotic dose)
it might make me drowsy all day even more so

think i’m going to have to though

Good luck. I am just partying and doing nothing right now really. Listening to Beach Boys ā€œHollandā€ on Spotify, self medicating. Nice talking with you @CloudDog

I’m trying to get my head into pondering this…

I guess it could be… breath talking… but it has to be something more then just neutral breathing…

I snap… I can’t take the fluttering around anymore…

I find I break out in rapid shallow breathing… (I’m having an anxiety attack) My sis without words shuts the blinds, stops all the kitchen clatter and comes and sits by me and holds my hand and a begins to breath very deeply and slowly… copy her… slow deep breath… we just try and catch that wave of calm… she doesn’t say anything about this any more… … she and I just have been through this so many times.

Or I guess I could picture a breath argument…

I huff…
she rolls her eyes and sighs
I exhale long and shake my head
she inhales and has a question on her face

But there are other body languages going on. Crossing of the arms, shaking of the head, narrowing or rolling of the eyes. I don’t know if it would be possible to have a conversation on breath alone.

A silent body language conversation? Yes… I am close enough to my sis and we live together for now that we seem to be able to read each other pretty well.

When you get to know someone really well… you know the non-verbal gestures… like if my Mom has an unusually sweet smile on her face… but that left eye brow is up and she’s looking at you over the rim of her glasses?.. She’s ready to strike like a cobra.
