I was underweight for a long time.

Women also find it a turn off and I used to get told things like they didnā€™t want to snap me!

I actually like guys who are heavier. Iā€™ve dated a couple. Itā€™s nice to me.

Attractive is subjective- Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder; however it maybe detrimental to ones health. And poor health is definitely UNATTRACTIVE.

No. But itā€™s important to observe dress sense. I know that sounds bad but you wouldnā€™t see me in a bikini. Thereā€™s overweight people who can wear bekinis and rock them but not me. I try to wear clothes that will be flattering for my figure.

being overweight is not attractive for most people although one shouldnā€™t be striving for other peopleā€™s satisfaction but for its own.
I liked all this thing about body positive movement but recently i saw many obese women posting ā€œproud of my curvesā€ pictures and i personally think it is going off the rails - obesity shouldnā€™t be praised as well as anorexic looks. I meanā€¦curves are curvesā€¦not a body fat.

Yes, and first of all, obese or anorexic is not healthy. Overweight is not a problem if a person eats/drinks in moderation and tries to exercise at least once in a while. Being a couch potato on the other hand is profoundly unhealthy even for those who donā€™t have weight issues.

I have a BMI of 28 and that puts me in the overweight category; however, I have a lot of muscle mass. The BMIā€™s classification and methodology is flawed and many experts have noted this.

The title of this thread should change to, ā€œIs having a high fat percentage unattractive?ā€.
