Is being a BBW "in"

Is it a fad that “big” is in? Is it popular to be a Bbw?

Nah it’s not a fad girls are just trying to feel more comfortable in their bodies which is a good thing.

I don’t understand,

What is BBW?

Big beautiful woman.
It’s for the woman who aren’t a Skinny Minny.
Different strokes for different folks.

Its not a trend unless media makes it a profitable one; it started as a body positive movement, encouraging women to love their bodies with all its imperfections. It has many approves and also many critics…
I generally consider it a good thing…so far.

I wish. I went from weighing 154 at 5’10" this summer to weighing 175 and counting. Once I start gaining weight, I keep on gaining. Last time, I went up to 250 lbs. I hope it doesn’t get that bad this time.

BBW is anything but new, the term has been around for at least the last 20-25 years that I recall.

I don’t think so. If anything it’s a fad to be skinny. I mean look at the fashion industry. Yes, there is more plus sized models then before but it still isn’t nearly as good as it could be.

Think of in the 1950s, woman had very healthy, pudgy bodies and it was seen as very attractive. And before that, for hundreds of years being bigger indicated that you were rich because if you were fat you must have money to buy food. (Not to mention men wanted woman with ‘child bearing hips’ so they and the infant would have a better chance to survive childbirth)

Around the 90s with supermodels and the whole ‘heroin chic’ trend being bone thin became the ideal and more and more girls have been starving themselves ever since.

It’s a sad world. I just wish more people could accept the body that they have, big or small.

My sister is plus sized, and she seems to be making a lot of friends lately. Or maybe they’re old friends. Idk.

What about for men, is there a fad for us to be plus sized?

Physically I am attracted to women with nice proportions. I like to see the features of the skeleton which indicate “this is a woman”. But when the girl is just encased in fat to the point that she looks not feminine, then I’m not usually attracted to her.

As a rule, fat is attractive, when its in the right places.

I think all women can be beautiful. At all sizes, heights, colors and ages. So can men.
