Is anyone else taking classes this semester?

Nope, I didn’t learn much of anything in college and anything I did learn I forgot.

Well, except how to make something nasty and fiery out of a couple commonly found substances.

I’m taking CCNA Networking. Basically it’s a Cisco computer networking class. I’m pretty optimistic about it. It’s a half-semester course, however, which means it’s an accelerated class. Very intense so far. Thankfully we have that Labor Day break coming up.

Good luck to you @elizabeth!

Biomedical ethics and then research/stats of psychology on mondays and wednesdays, honors literary heritage and then oral communication on tuesdays and thursdays. Research/stats of psychology is a lab class and is two hours long. It sucks. I like oral communication, I like speaking and love to talk about schizophrenia. I have given presentations on it before. Biomedical ethics is rather advanced, almost like law school. Honors literary heritage is pretty meh its a lot of reading but so far the reading is actually interesting and entertaining.

I took a very similar class several semesters ago. It was awful, I hated it. I didn’t show up for a lot of classes and that was reflected in my grades. I’m surprised I ended up doing OK in it. I just couldn’t figure out the computer program we had to use to chart data. I’d better remember quick though because I have a research internship this semester and I have a feeling it will require some of those skills.

Good luck with the other classes! It sounds like you’ll do fine, as usual, right?

I should be A-OK as long as I work hard and give an honest effort. I hope you tear your semester a new one!

I do school online with Colorado Technical University. We do sessions throughout the year and don’t have semesters. The sessions are five and a half weeks then we get a week or two off and then do it again. My classes started right before I went into the hospital so I’m taking this session off. It begins again in October. For the first time I will be full time and take two classes a session. The one is statistics and the other is a computer class. I’ve been bored so I’ve been watching MIT lectures on Quantum Mechanics. I know I’m a nerd, but math and science are like a drug to me. When I listen to lectures or read articles I get so excited it’s like a high. In my early twenties I majored in Physics. Unfortunately I got to into the party scene and didn’t finish. For those of you worried about Chemistry I would advise you to check out the videos on the textbook’s website. They really helped me when I was studying science. Good luck to everyone in school! :sunny:
