That’s a high dose. You should query about lowering to 600mg daily. I think I used to be on 600mg years ago but made me sleep a lot, so 400mg daily works well for me. Doesn’t cause weight gain for me. I think 400mg is the anti-psychotic minimum for Seroquel.
No the lowest antischizophrenic dose is 450 mg seroquel. And let me ask you are you a general practitioner since you recommend me a given dose. I warn you about recommend any of the users here on this forum to take a sudden dose because psychotropics are a matter of life and death.
I think it was just a friendly suggestion since you have side effects you don’t like. He does say query, meaning you could possibly suggest it to your doctor and let them decide ,if it interests you. Nothing wrong with that.

I was just trying to help you, because I have some experience with Seroquel. You said your tummy was twice as big as before. If that was due to Seroquel, then you need to mention that to your doctor. I never claimed to be a professional. Don’t assume too much.
