Just wondering. I am contemplating asking to go to 5mg but not sure they’ll agree.

10mg is a low enough dose
2mg to 5mg is really for depression but not enough to control psychosis
I’m on 2mg of Abilify for depression

When I was on it I took 30 mg for psychosis symptoms. I think they tried 35 mg even for a brief bit when I was really bad off.

I was on 5mg for several years but I struggled a lot with shifting moods or dysregulation so had to increase it …

I was on 10mg until a week ago. 10 is prettt good and a low dose. Im taking 5mg for the next few weeks to see if im able to to get off it. But yeah im pretty sure 5mg or less isnt enough to defend against psychotic symptoms or mania.

Thats awesome you were able to be on 5mg for years. That shows that you may not need big doses of heavy meds to keep your sz or sza symptoms under control.
