Which is better for your cognition and motivation?
According to AI, Invega is worse in these aspects due to more persistent prolactin elevation and more sustained dopamine-blocking.

It’s hard to tell, but Risperdal was on of my first Aps I took. It wasn’t perfect.
I’ve been on a lot of different meds. I used to complain a lot about the negative symptoms.
I had success for a while on Vraylar. Now, I’m on Zyprexa and it’s working. I had issues with caffeine, mainly energy drinks and smoking cigarettes, which interferes with the meds.
A lot of the meds stopped working for me because of the interactions and temporarily stopping the meds.
I think I gained 100 lbs on Risperdal in my first year. I’m still fat.
I usually feel better cognitively. I used to lack pleasure and motivation. Now, I experience pleasure, and have a little motivation. I used to complain about lack of energy to do things.
I think I took Invega before, but it wasn’t for a long time. I don’t even really remember or recall. I think I had anxiety and restlessness on it. I don’t like restlessness.

Glad Zyprexa is working for you. Did you gain weight on it?

Im taking risperdal. I was recommended to take the invega shot but i think im gonna just stick with the pills.

I’m on Lybalvi so only 10 lbs so far.

The only med that has helped concentration for me was latuda and haldol the haldol is really helping my concentration but so did latuda not to the same degree tho
Neither of those meds worked for ME but it might help YOU

I choose Invega.
I was on Risperdal and it didn’t really work out for me.
Stimulants are good for motivation and cognition, though U have to be careful and not burn out.

Did this med combo cause EPS / tardive dyskinesia, and if so, what did you do to mitigate it?
prozac really helping my motivation.for cognition invega is the best i guess

Haldol I take and I used to take latuda
Latuda caused panic attacks
Haldol is what I’m on now it works and all I have to do is take cogentin
