Hey guys! I’m on invega sustenna now but I have a lot of side effects from it like akathisia and lactating soo I wanna switch to Haldol would rather be on pills then shot. I feel like it’s the best med for schizo and bipolar!

why no shot? I am on risperdal consta shot and in combination with the clozapine i am better than in a long time. I think the depots are nice cause the meds stay in your blood the whole day without any big dips… i wouldn’t go back.

Welcome to the forum!!! Back when I had Medicaid and didn’t have to pay for my meds, I loved getting the Invega shot. There was no need to have to remember my med. it was so convenient. I’m on Haldol now. 10 mg of haldol

Idk I guess I could try the shot that’s probably what there gonna put me on anyway. I like shots better too!

I no longer have Medicaid so I can’t afford the shot. Haldol is ok. I get akithisia from it but I take Cogentin to deal with it
