Got my shot

Every 4 weeks, seems to be helping me. Anyone else on the Invega shot?

I used to be. But I’m on aripiprazole now. I get my injection tomorrow.

I used to get it at the highest dose. I can’t afford it anymore

I was on the pills, never felt so bad in my entire life.

I have been on the invega shot 4 years now.

At one point about a year or two ago, my pdoc suggested it. I’m taking risperdal and haldol pills. I’m probably going to start on a haldol injection.

Do you have side effects? @JustTrish

I’m on pill form haldol and risperidone. I take 5mg prn 2x day haldol with no side effects. The risperidone 4mg 3x really hasn’t had any side effects, although, I used to have a hard time maintaining my weight. Now, with gastroparesis, I tend to lose often.

@Aziz

Yep, my psychosis was treatment resistant before that. Luckily, I could still function (depends on how you define that), but not thrive. I had NO good days before.

When I was on Invega I slept like 3 hours less than what I needed, maybe it was because of that that I felt so bad.

Yeah sleep can be a big time issue I know when I don’t sleep I start tripping a little
