Please give me ur thoughts about invega and review it
It was definitely not the AP for me. Made me feel zombielike. It also came with sexual side effects and possibly heart palpitations(never had them observed by a doctor but thought that I felt them). Like I said, it wasn’t for me, but some people like it, so it may work for you.
I wasn’t a huge fan of invega… it caused my cholesterol to be high, it made me lactate and like @Bowens said, it made me get weird feelings in my heart…
I am now on abilify and haven’t had any of these issues
It will make you feel like a zombie until you get use to it which takes years and even then I still have bad days
I take Invega Sustenna injections and I feel good
Invega Sustenna (monthly injection) really helped my positive symptoms. However, I was like a zombie, waking around with my mouth hanging.
It also caused my tardive cervical dystonia (movement disorder), severe sexual dysfunction, and I had pretty terrible heat intolerance.
Some of the issues it caused have never gone away, even though I switched meds 1 year ago.
Didn’t work for me.
It was good at getting rid of positive symptoms but was tough to be on.
All of the above for me heart palpitations, high cholesterol that i got down but havent checked recently, sexual dysfunction, high prolactin but no breast milk, but i have no major symptoms. Maybe i have some mild cognitive issues like memory and trouble thinking .
I’ve been on invega trinza for about 3 years. It helps me roll with the punches. I still get angry, but eventually I am able to let things go. I still struggle with decision making - I kind of freeze up, but I trust my instincts now much more compared to before being on an AP. I am less impulsive. It helps me hold down a good job with benefits. I’m off SSDI now. I go to therapy. I don’t have a 6 pack but my job and diet keep me in shape. Invega has helped me make progress in my life.
I liked it but can’t afford it anymore. On it, I thought more clearly, didn’t gain weight, and had energy. It didn’t stop the men from following me but it helped in other ways.

3 out of 5 stars
It worked. It also made me gain 20% of my body weight, and stop menstruating the two times I was on it for 6 months. Basically, seems to have really messed up my hormones in that respect. I would use it again in an emergency, but not long-term.
Invega really eradicated positive symptoms, but it had a huge impact in my energy level and motivation to move. I would always want to sit down and lay and not move… negatives I suppose.
it made me feel like my mind is empty and gain a lot of weight…
Im one of those that it suits. I top-up with Quetiapine a bit more during the last week of the month, when i feel it wearing off - but im not keen on having a higher dose.
It helps me keep my insight - and not go down the rabbit hole of funny delusions.
No weight gain - but my diets hit and miss anyway. Got a bit of a droopy dick on it, but im not really sexually active, so i can live with that.
It was pretty bad at first year then I lowered the dose now I find it cool to be on going on to year three hopefully it gets even better it is really good at controlling negs it will lower your motivation but hey im not perfect nor is any med but yeah just opt for a lower dose if anything
