pills are better, injection is last resort imo

yeah the scary thing about the injection too is it takes so long to leave the body. its one reason im not sure i will agree to it

Invega was the first med I was on steadily. I had haldol before that but got out of taking the pills every chance I got. I was on the injection of Invega. It was very good at positives, but I felt it amplified my negatives. Gained a lot of weight on it and felt zombified.

Abilify was better for me, and I believe vraylar in conjuction with Wellbutrin is even better.

I was on the Invega pills for a month then got switched to the highest dose of the injectable. That was the worst 10 months of my life. Had no motivation, gained 60 pounds, started lactating due to the high prolactin levels.

were u on the highest dose pill? 9 mg right? if the pill vs injection dose were the same would u say the injection feels worse?

im shocked how good invega works. way better than haldol did for me but i did have to be careful with haldol dose cause it made me restless. but invega is so much better. i just hope my white blood cells come back up. i really dont wanna quit taking it. i asked about vraylar but she thought invega would be better.

It has really helped my positives but it took 3 months to finally eliminate the voices. I started off at 3mg now I’m on 9mg. The increase was because of some paranoia.

They gave me injection first and I got bad akathisia (restlessness that causes pacing) from it that lasted about 9 months thanks to how long it stays in your body.

Trying it isn’t bad, but I wish we had done pills instead.

I’m glad it works for you, I knew someone else who it worked for, just didn’t work out for me.
