It’s been nice proving to myself that holding a job is possible post-psychosis. Also, I’m so glad I won’t be dealing with food with this job, lol.

I have faith that you will. I think those of us dealing with severe MI have more to offer than employers might initially think. I think we can be pretty compassionate, and we’re obviously very tough. :slight_smile:

its tough, i’m still trying to build up to a job, i do so much though, my whole life is full time, i just dont get paid for it except for govt hand outs

@anon90843118 I agree! We have to work pretty hard to get a job in the first place.

@daydreamer I wish you luck in getting a job when you feel ready. You do a lot to help your community, from what I’ve read, and that dedication will go a long way in landing you a job, I think; again, when you feel ready. :slight_smile:

Lol so uh… training was cancelled this week. They probably called me but my phone blocks suspected spam calls. They said training should start for real next Tuesday. I’m going to call ahead on that day just to be sure.

A few people I recognized from other jobs talked to me a bit and said the work is very easy and, unlike at my previous call center job, you can hang up on abusive customers, so that’s nice.

Uhhhh so they postponed training again, and it being delayed to next Tuesday is going to coincide with my p-nurse appointment to have my meds looked at and possibly changed. :confused: I’m prioritizing the appointment. I’m going to see if I can change it but if not I’ll just have to go for work training another time, I guess.
